The compression for a Suzuki RM125 generally should be between 175 to 200 psi when the engine is in good condition. However, it's crucial to consult the manufacturer's specifications for your specific model year, as tolerances can vary. Regular maintenance, including checking the piston and rings, is essential to ensure optimal compression. Low compression may indicate wear and could require rebuilding the top end.
it's old! piston rings seal the combustion chamber, so they and or the cylinder is worn.
nope
yes its is the same engine
how muck gear oil goes in a 2002 rm125
10w30 motor oil
you cant a rm125 is a 2 stroke check the ignition timing through the flywheel
Have you checked the compression? It's needs to get good compression to detonate. If not compression , then check the fuel mixture screw on the carb. It might be getting to much fuel, when trying to start it, or it might be to lean. just a tip, never use starting fluid on a 2 cycle, it will cause a lean out and sieze the motor up.
what should the compression be on a 2007 ezgo golf cart
I have a 1984 suzuki rm125 that has that same motor in it. Your motor is a 1984 suzuki rm125. i just verified it with suzuki. the f108 also came in the 1985 rm125 bikes but had a higher number.
Look at the vin tag on the steering head tube of the frame, the year should be on the vin tag.
