well a banshee is a two stroke motor which means you have to mix gasoline and oil together Use a fully-synthetic 2stroke mix, such as potoline MX5 for untuned bikes or MX7 for tuned bikes (ie bikes with exhaust system)
24 to 1
it should be 24:1 if your using yamalube 2 stroke oil
About 36 to 1 or 40 to 1
I run a 50:1 ratio in mine, with slight mods.(jetted and pipes) I have a stock 01 and mix is 300ml to 10ltrs
3 Oz per Gallon
50ml of oil to every litre of petrol
Around 32:1 depending on the quality of the oil.
A misfire on a Yamaha Banshee can be caused by several factors, including faulty spark plugs, inadequate fuel delivery due to clogged fuel filters or lines, or issues with the ignition system such as a malfunctioning ignition coil. Additionally, air-fuel mixture problems, such as carburetor malfunctions or vacuum leaks, can also lead to misfires. Regular maintenance and checking these components can help prevent misfires.
If your Yamaha Banshee idles but won't run under load on the right cylinder, it could be due to a few issues. Common causes include a clogged jet in the carburetor, an air leak in the intake manifold, or a spark plug that is faulty or improperly gapped. Additionally, check the fuel supply to that cylinder to ensure it’s receiving the right amount of fuel. Inspecting these components should help identify and resolve the problem.
Transmission oil? It goes in where the dipstick screws into the RH engine cover near the kickstart lever. Top end oil? The Banshee runs on premix. You mix oil with the gasoline, put it in the fuel tank.
Check your fuel off / on swich. Pull the to screws out and check the filters.
If the banshee hasn't been bored or altered then there is one ratio mix. The gas to oil ratio mix should be 40 to 1 .
