A 2005 Yamaha YZ 85 uses a 2-stroke oil specifically designed for high-performance two-stroke engines. It's important to use a quality oil, such as Yamalube 2-Stroke Oil, or other reputable brands that meet JASO FD specifications. Always mix the oil with gasoline at the recommended ratio, typically 32:1, unless specified otherwise in the owner's manual.

It should just use the engine oil for the transmission but I could be mistaken. I've never even heard of separate transmission fluid on any motorcycle or dirtbike.
I use 85-140 but as long as it is a good oil you can use 80-90W.
