For a 2005 Suzuki C50, it is recommended to use 10W-40 oil that meets the JASO MA or MA2 specifications, which is suitable for motorcycles with wet clutches. Synthetic or conventional oil can be used, but many riders prefer synthetic for better performance and protection. Always check the owner's manual for specific oil recommendations and capacities.
According to my 2005 Suzuki C50's Owner's Manual, you need to use a 10W40 oil with an API rating of SF or SG. For an oil AND filter change, you need 3.6qts (3400mL). For just an oil change, you'll need 3.2qts (3000mL).
Read user manual and concern your mechanic.
4.4L with filter
I ride a Suzuki M50 BLVD and their is no oil reset button. I do not know about the Suzuki C50 BLVD.
The Suzuki C50, which is a 805cc cruiser motorcycle, typically requires about 3.5 quarts (approximately 3.3 liters) of oil when performing an oil change, including the oil filter. Always check the owner's manual for the specific model year for any variations in oil capacity. It's important to use the recommended oil type for optimal performance.
the Suzuki c 50 t motor cycle,, how much oil does it hold and what brand is best to use in it
Suzuki 4- stroke motorcycle engine oil Sp-4A SAE 10W - 40
A highly recommended synthetic oil for a 2013 Suzuki C50 Boulevard is Mobil 1 10W-40 V-Twin Motorcycle Oil. This oil is specifically designed for motorcycles, providing excellent protection and performance under various conditions. Additionally, it offers good thermal stability and reduces engine wear, making it ideal for cruiser bikes like the C50. Always check your owner's manual for the manufacturer's specifications before making a final choice.
The proper procedure for checking the oil level is to look in the oil sight glass with the bike sitting level. If you see all oil and no air bubble at the top then you have sufficient oil.
20/50 any brand, but go with the major brands
My Clymer maintenance book said to use SAE10-W40 weight oil or a lighter viscosity oil (10W30) in cool climates and a heavier viscosity oil (20W50)in warm or hot climates.
There is no oil contained in the driveshaft housing of a C50. It is essentially "dry". However, there is fluid in the final drive that should be level with the bottom of the fill plug when the bike is upright. Do be aware that while there is no oil in the driveshaft, the splined ends of the internal driveshaft must be greased periodically which requires the removal of the final drive.
