If you can pull the chain with your thumb and index finger away from the very back of the rear sprocket and see more than 1/2 of a gear tooth, the chain needs to be replaced. The following is an interesting interlude but doesn't answer the question.

i am replacing mine after it jumped the sprocket and locked my rear wheel at 60mph in traffic i managed to keep it up and slide off the road but if it was a corner i had been on when this happened i would not have been so lucky so i would say if you are questioning your chain better to replace it now than risk your bike and your life later its always easier to work on your bike when you plan to rather than when you have to because it broke also inspect the sprockets and the rollers on the chain for wear and oil or spray it with chain wax frequently and you will get more life out of it it should have about an inch of play and no noticable wear on the rollers or the sprocket hope that helps

Why motorcycle chain become loser or slack?

Normal wear & tear. A well lubricated and adjusted chain will last a lot longer. Lubricate with a specific motorcycle chain lubricant at least once a week (more often in bad weather or if being ridden off road). When replacing chain also replace both front and rear sprockets (the sprockets wear as well as the chain) and for road use an automatic chain oiler will reduce wear. What is the difference of a 525 motorcycle chain and a 530 motorcycle chain?

The primary difference between a 525 and a 530 motorcycle chain lies in their width and strength specifications. The "5" in both indicates the chain's pitch, which is 5/8 inch, while the second digit indicates the width: a 525 chain is 0.25 inches wide, whereas a 530 chain is 0.3 inches wide. This increased width in the 530 chain allows it to handle more torque and power, making it suitable for higher-performance motorcycles. Consequently, the choice between the two depends on the specific requirements of the motorcycle and its intended use.
