Husqvarna makes only the high end saw (359 & up) now in Sweden. Every thing else is made in America. American Yard Products (owned by Husqvarna),I think, makes their low end saws now.
There are many types of husqvarna chainsaws. Choosing the appropriate chainsaw will reward the buyer. There are lightweight, low vibration, simple or professional chainsaws. Lightweight and low vibration chainsaws will add comfort but reduce effectiveness, while on the other hand professional chainsaws will require higher skills and physical strength but will also boost productivity.
That is the $10,000.00 question. I give husqvarna and sears low, low failing grades for making this so difficult to find a answer/diagram to such a simple question.

Sears uses several manufacturers to build tractors to sears specs. Most are made by Husqvarna and MTD. They recently partnered with Simplicity for the new high end 30 horsepower, I believe the model is CTX9500 and retails for about 6,500.00 dollars. Most rear engine riders are made by Murray or Snapper.
