I owned a 2001 ZRX-1200 and it did not require gear oil. On most current, chain drive, motorcycles the transmission and engine share the same oil. This is the reason that there is so much debate about using automotive oils in motorcycles because the motorcycle is generally harder on oil than a car. This is due to the added work it has to do to lubricate the clutch plates and transmission gears. That being said, the best policy is to change the oil according to manufacturers recommendation and make sure you have the proper amount in the bike. Hope that helps

How do you put oil in Kawasaki 250 four wheeler
To add gear oil to a Kawasaki Mule 600, locate the gear oil fill plug on the front differential. Remove the fill plug using the appropriate tool, and then use a funnel to pour the recommended gear oil into the opening until it reaches the proper level, usually just below the fill hole. Always check your owner's manual for the specific type and amount of gear oil required. After adding, replace the fill plug securely.
I put synthetic in every thing 5-30 I put it in my 84 1100 ltd it just humms at four grand. I've got it in every thing the one ton engine trany and diff. The diesel gen set runs cool enough to put your hand on the block and you could never do that with regular oil. From Glenn.
For a Kawasaki ZRX 1100, the recommended amount of fork oil is typically around 500 mL (or about 16.9 fluid ounces) per fork, depending on the specific model year and modifications. It's important to check the owner's manual for the exact specifications and fork oil level, as it may vary slightly. Additionally, ensure you use the correct viscosity of fork oil as recommended for optimal performance.

the only place you put gear oil is in the rear end. Look on the differential and on the back there is a large nut, remove it to put in the CORRECT gear oil.
according to kawasaki specification page is 4.1 quarts, but that would be with a new oil filter. Chris G.
you dont put any oil into a kawasaki crankcase, the 2 stroke that is pumped into the engine lubricates the crank, and all the other internals of the engine.
No, this is not possible. You must put it in neutral gear before starting. There is a safety device that prevents starting in gear.
