On a 1987 Suzuki 4x4 ATV, the fuses are typically located under the front plastic panel or in a fuse box near the battery. You may need to remove the panel or access the area near the battery to find the fuse holder. It's important to consult the owner's manual for specific locations and fuse ratings for your model. Always ensure the ATV is turned off and disconnected from the battery when inspecting fuses.

Remove the distributor cap by loosening the screws, and take note of the rotor's position for reinstallation. Unbolt the distributor from the engine block and carefully lift it out, then replace it with the new distributor, aligning it with the rotor position you noted. Finally, reconnect the distributor cap and the battery, and start the engine to check for proper operation.
