You have to remove the entire luggage compartment in order to get to the battery.

Step 1: Raise the seat

Step 2: Remove the seat - the screws are easily accessible.

Step 3: Remove the screws holding the luggage compartment ( you have two at the back end, a big one under the place where the seat was secured, a couple more at the bottom, where the carburetor access panel is)

Step 4: Raise the luggage compartment and disconnect the light, careful not to tear the cable.

Step 5: Look at the back of where the luggage compartment was. There is a square box, with a single screw holding it, you can already see the two thick wires coming out. Remove the cover and you're done.

The Dink 150 needs a pretty decent battery - don't be cheap, since starting it from the pedal can be a bit tricky on an older engine.
