Honda 10w40 works well
Counter-clock wise.
10w40 will do just fine. I use Motul.
For a 1983 Honda Goldwing 1100, a good choice is to use 10W-40 motor oil, which is suitable for the engine's air-cooled design and operating conditions. It's important to select oil that meets or exceeds the JASO MA or MA2 specifications for motorcycle oils to ensure proper performance and protection. Additionally, synthetic or semi-synthetic oils can offer enhanced performance and protection, especially in varying temperatures. Always check the owner's manual for any specific recommendations or requirements.
