Basically yes- It uses a rectifier in place of a regulator
Check under the plate between the speedo. and the tac.Themain fuse is located above the voltage regulator/rectifier (fusible link) . The cooling fan is an in line fuse.
The main fuse (fusible link) is located above the voltage regulator/rectifier which is underneath the right hand side cover where the battery is. Hope this helps.
The main fusable link is located above the voltage regulator/rectifier. If the main fusable link blows remove the side cover and remove the Philips screws securing the fusable link and replace it.
its located directy underneath the battery box. (its the thing with the cooling fins on it) you just unplug it and pull 2 bolts out that are holding it in
the voltage regulator is located in the voltage regulator compartment
could be a regulator if it is separate from rectifier, could be a faulty rectifier (ive had a new faulty one)
Defective voltage regulator.
Following the simple checks in the service manual will tell you if it is bad or not.
