The turn signal and 4 way flashers are both located in the speedo/tach console. Remove the two cap screws, lift the instrument panel and disconnect the speedo cable. If extra room is needed (most likely), lift the instruments out far enough to disconnect the connectors by squeezing the tabs on the sides and pulling apart. To remove the flasher, slide a small flat tipped screwdriver blade into the shorter side of the flasher holder and carefully pry to get started, then go to the second side and it will pop out. The flashers have detents on each end.
There is no flasher, it has a turn signal module under the seat, one bolt in the center holds a flat module, about 2 in by 3 in
Check your turn fuse. Or the connection between the flasher and the turn signal. Sorry I mean check the connection between the flasher and the turn signal switch.
To change the flasher for the turn signal on a 1992 Harley-Davidson FXR, first, locate the flasher unit, which is typically found under the left side of the dash or near the headlight. Disconnect the battery to ensure safety, then remove the old flasher by pulling it out of its socket. Insert the new flasher into the socket, ensuring it's properly seated, and reconnect the battery. Test the turn signals to confirm the new flasher is functioning correctly.
