They are comparable in speed although the cr85 will jump from the line better than the crf150r. The ability to have a smoother ride makes the crf150r faster in and out of corners, but really in a race either could come out on top depending upon bike set up, rider ability and conditions.
I can get top speed with a Cr85 118 km/h and 104 with a crf150r with GPS
I have had both bikes, a 2005 CR85 and a 2007 CRF150R. I prefer the 150r much more, and I can pull the holeshot on my stock 150 over all those 85's. The four-stroke power (torque) is amazing, feels like a mini 250.
The CR85 and CRF150R are both competitive dirt bikes, but the CRF150R generally has a power advantage due to its larger engine displacement (150cc vs. 85cc). This means that in a straight-line race, the CRF150R is likely to outpace the CR85, especially on longer tracks. However, the CR85 might excel in tight, technical sections where its lighter weight and agility can be advantageous. Ultimately, the outcome can also depend on the rider's skill and experience.
The crf150r is a much better bike than the cr85. Honda no longer make the cr85 and if the two were racing each other the 150 would usually come out on top. Being a 4 stroke it has a much more even power delivery.
crf150r because a cr85 you have to put oil in the gas and you have to change the piston and the rings ever 50 hours.
Yes, a stock CR85 is faster than a stock KX85.
Cr85 is the faster and stronger bike. The Kx85 is a little smaller and not as strong.
Crf150r is faster with a top speed around 72mph, vs. 55-60mph for the kx100, depending on rider weight/etc.
faster than you want to go !
a kx85 is faster than the yz85 but the fastest is the cr85 but the rider is what makes it faster or slower
i have both and i am quite sure the 85 is a bit faster not by much though
i think it is not as fast but not by to much 5 mph more
