The Snapper Riding mower model 28085 was made for a number of years. Older ones may date back to about 1985. Repair parts are still available for these models online.
To find the age of a Snapper Riding Mower, locate the model and serial number, typically found on a label under the seat or on the frame. Use the model number to identify the manufacturing year, which can often be found on Snapper's official website or by contacting their customer service. Additionally, the serial number may contain a date code that can provide insights into the mower's age. If you have the owner's manual, it may also include information on how to determine the mower's age.
Snapper did. We have a 42" black hawk riding mower. We get our parts from snapper dealers. I believe they were going to sell them as a cheaper line to try to compete with mtd and other cheap mowers. Apparently it never worked out, don't see too many around.
I have a comet 2652 and the model Number is under the seat attached to the body of the mower Kerry Barnes
