The Ruff Riders
The Chicago Ruff Ryders is a motorcycle club and part of the larger Ruff Ryders brand, which was originally founded by DMX, Waah Dean, and Chivon Dean in the late 1990s. The Chicago chapter was established to promote motorcycle culture and community involvement in the area. Specific information about the individual founder of the Chicago Ruff Ryders may not be widely documented, as local chapters often have their own leadership structures.
The original Ruff Ryders stunt team members included prominent figures such as L. "D" Jones, who was known for his motorcycle skills, and other notable riders like "Boo," "Wavy," and "Doom." They were integral to the Ruff Ryders Collective, known for their impressive motorcycle tricks and performances that showcased their skills in music videos and live events. Their contributions significantly shaped the visual identity of the Ruff Ryders brand in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
To become a Ruff Ryder member, you typically need to be passionate about motorcycle culture and the Ruff Ryder lifestyle, which emphasizes camaraderie and respect among riders. You can start by attending local Ruff Ryder events, joining community rides, and connecting with existing members to express your interest in joining. Many chapters may require you to participate in a probationary period or complete a membership application. It's essential to embody the Ruff Ryder spirit of loyalty, brotherhood, and a love for riding.
Ruff Ryders got their name from a movie that the Dean brothers father (Mr. Dean) saw about a band of volunteer horseback riders called the Rough Riders during the Spanish-American war of 1898 under then President Theodore Roosevelt.
The first Vested Ruff Ryder, a prominent motorcycle club, was founded in Yonkers, New York, in the late 1990s. The club quickly gained recognition for its unique style and strong sense of community. Over time, it expanded to various locations, but its origins remain rooted in the Yonkers area.
As of my last update, there is no official Ruff Ryders chapter specifically in or near Lincoln, Nebraska. The Ruff Ryders Motorcycle Club has chapters primarily in larger urban areas. For the most accurate and current information, it's best to check their official website or social media pages.
