Set your mower on level ground and wait for 10 minutes or so to let all the oil drain into the crank case, then check the oil level. It sounds like there is too much oil in the engine.
The angle in which you are cutting is probably where the carburetor is on the downhill side. The oil in the sump tends to seek its on level in the same direction. Try mowng in the opposite direction where the carburetor is on the uphill side.
It is need of a service.
One reason that a lawn mower may begin to smoke is that the oil chamber is too full. Spark plugs that have burnt oil and are not cleaned can create smoke and other exhaust issues.
its burning oil :(
Blue smoke coming from a lawn mower could be caused by burning oil, a clogged air filter, or a problem with the engine's piston rings.
Black smoke = excessive fuel entering the engine
Oil burning
If all oil the mower will not start. If only a little oil, the mower may start but run rough and smoke very much.
its probably burning oil, if the smoke is white. if the smoke is black, it means its running rich. if the smoke is white, you have serious internal engine problems
mine too. not sure why...
excessive or unburnt fuel.
A smoke detector is triggered by the presence of smoke particles in the air. To prevent it from going off, make sure to keep the area around the smoke detector clean and free of dust or debris. Additionally, avoid smoking indoors and be cautious when cooking to prevent excessive smoke. Regularly test and maintain your smoke detector to ensure it is functioning properly.
