You can try to roll the bike down a hill or have your friends push the bike on a level road while you change between the gears, working from lower gears to higher gears and finally Top Gear. Release the clutch handle in each gear when low speed of 20 to 30 mph has been attained but don´t try to start the bike and keep the ignition in off position. You may be able to free the clutch plates, especially if you also inspect the engine oil and change it if it is old or you don´t know if it´s the right kind, JASO-MA or MA2 10 40 W is recommended. If this does not work, then you have to take the engine apart which is not something a beginner should attempt as it takes considerable skill and in some cases special tools also to replace the clutch, replace gaskets and so on and put everything together again.
