when your exhaust goes under water and you let it idle it creates a back pressure and the fumes hav no were to got that's why u try to keep the motor at a good rpm under water
To add antifreeze to a 2005 Honda Rincon 650, first ensure the engine is cool and the vehicle is on a level surface. Open the radiator cap and add the appropriate type of antifreeze mixed with water, filling it to the recommended level. Additionally, check the overflow reservoir and top it off if necessary. After replacing the cap, start the engine and let it run briefly to ensure the coolant circulates properly.
What size engine is it first? If the engine is a 4 cylinder. The water pump is under the exhaust manifold. Where the thermostat is. Find the lower radiator hose and there will be a black tube that runs under the engine block and then it goes up under the exhaust manifold. You will find it there with the thermostat. The water pump is not that big.
2.3L quad 4 is located under the exhaust manifold passenger side. To replace you have to remove the exhaust manifold.
back side of motor under exhaust manifold with the water pump
Lago Rincon Del Bonete, Lagoa Mirim, and Lake Profound
Left hand side under the exhaust manifold
the water drain lines on rearwindow compartment are blocked on my 1994 honda civic del sol can i run a wire up the tubes to get the water out and where are they under the car.
It is located behind the timing chain cover under the exhaust manifold.
The water you see comming from the exhaust is condensation. A by product of the combustion process is water and until the exhaust system gets hot enough to maintain the water in the exhaust in a gaseous state it will condense (fall out of the exhaust stream) in the exhaust system. After the engine gets warm and heats up the exhaust system the water does not condense in the exhaust system anymore and is dirrected into the atmosphere. P.K.
its very hard to get to. if you look down the firewall on the left side. you have to remove the heat shield. i wound up dropping the exhaust and removing the exhaust manifold because its mounted under the water pump which is under the manifold.
the water pump is under the timing cover, if you replace the water pump, it is also a good time to change out the timing belt... Honda recomends changing water pumps when you change the timing belt...
remove the exhaust manifold (its under it) if it is a single or dual over head cam engine
