From what I have been told, the Deuce name came from Willie G's love of the old 1932 Ford that inspired the Deuce hotrod. Now whether this is truth or fiction, I am not entirely certain but this is what I found out when I asked the same question. Sounds like it might be true to me.............??? I own a Harley Deuce and to me it was (still is even tho it was dropped from the Harley line after the '07 model) the best looking Harley ever made. It sure lives up to its namesake with regards to both styling and performance............
