the mechanical seal on the water pump is out
driver side in the middle their will be a 3/4 inwrench nut to drain i out.
They recomend a 50-50 mix of water and antifreeze
The drain plug for the crankcase on a 1997 Polaris Scrambler 400 is typically located on the bottom of the engine case. You may need to remove the skid plate for better access. Look for a hex or bolt-type plug, which is often positioned towards the rear of the engine. Always ensure to have a drain pan ready to catch the oil when you remove the plug.
400 polaris sportman has 455cc
Adjust carb on 400 Polaris 4x4 2stroke
how do u bypass the oil injection on a polaris 400 2x4 scrambler
There is not a fuse box on the Polaris 400. This machine has circuits and breakers which are generally located under the seat.
400 2 cycle has a couterbalanc that uses oil, dip stick/fill plug is under the caburator at the base of the cylinder should be a red plug with a screwdriver slot in it .Holds only about an ounce or so good luck
It depends on a trailblazer 250 they have no crankcase oil but on a 400 water cooled scrambler they do so yes you need to change the oil with regular motor oil

If it is still getting water in the cylinder then it could be coming from the bottom / below the piston. Typically the seal on the water pump will leak allowing water to get into the crankcase. If it gets too much it will get on the cylinder walls and smoke.
