Could be a Kill switch,usually blk/wh wire, & on handlebar brake,tether switch,brake pedal, remote box, Try unlugging the kill wire from the CDI first & if it starts that means you have a kill switch on
Again, if it starts you cannot turn it off with the key etc...
.Then unplug remote box - try to start - you will have to kill it by choke or remove plug cap though, at least that will tell you if that is what is wrong.
Otherwise, it could be your ign switch, if it got wet, CDI,coil, battery.

The spark plug is located on the top of the engine. I have not yet found out how to really get to it since it is in there at such an odd angle but, it is there.
