In order for a bike to start it must have 3 things, AIR The easiest is checking to make sure the air filter is clean and that there are no obstructions between airbox and carb. FUEL Dump the old gas and add a gallon of fresh gas. Next pull your fuel line off of carb and turn petcock on to ensure you have gas going into the carb. It wouldn't hurt to pull the carb off and give it a good cleaning at this point. Be sure to pull your main and idle jets out and clean them and make sure you can blow through them before reassembling. SPARK Check the spark at the plug. If there is no spark, check your plug cap (cheap fix) first, if that is not it go on to your stator.

No, a KTM 85 kick start lever does not fit a KTM 65. The two models have different engine designs and kick start mechanisms, meaning their components are not interchangeable. It's important to use parts specifically designed for each model to ensure proper fit and functionality. Always consult the manufacturer's specifications or a parts dealer for the correct parts.

If your KTM won't start, it could be due to several issues. Check the battery to ensure it's charged and connections are secure. Additionally, inspect the fuel system for blockages or old fuel, and verify that the kill switch is in the "on" position. If these areas are fine, it may be a sign of a more complex electrical or ignition issue that requires professional diagnosis.
If your 2011 KTM 250 SX-F won't start, it could be due to several factors. Common issues include a dead battery, fuel delivery problems, or issues with the spark plug or ignition system. Ensure that there is fresh fuel in the tank, the battery is charged, and the spark plug is clean and functioning properly. Additionally, check for any loose connections or faults in the electrical system.

If your KTM bump starts but won't kick start, it may indicate a problem with the kickstarter mechanism, such as a jammed or damaged component. Additionally, check the fuel system to ensure there’s adequate fuel and that it's reaching the engine. It's also worth inspecting the spark plug for issues, as a faulty spark could prevent the bike from starting. Finally, consider checking the battery and electrical connections, as they may affect the kick start functionality.
