First off, having too much oil in your oil tank. If your oil level checks out, check into your head breather filters/umbrella seals (tear drop shape cover) in the the rocker boxes (twin Cam). Because the breather system(Crankcase ventilation system) was routed to the air filter. Most people remove the line going to the air filter and route it to a breather filter which you may obtain from any Harley parts retailer. The problem is if you only ride your bike occasionally, it will continue to squirt when you first start it, do after installing the breather filter, remember to put a drain pan under it when you start it.

This is a serious issue and should be looked at by an experienced mechanic immediately. There are a number of things that could be wrong. Especially if someone worked on it that did not do the work correctly.

About 3 quarts. When you drain the oil & remove the filter, be sure to jack the back of the bike a bit to drain all the oil. When replacing the filter, pre-fill the new filter prior to installing. Then, after you have reinstalled the drain plug and lowered the jack (be sure the bike is on a level surface) add about 2.5 quarts and run the engine until warm. Recheck the oil level per service manual instructions and add oil as needed.
