Any company that insures your parents will require that you be covered as long as you are licensed and live in the house. Of course, with a driving record like that they will not cover your family without a HUGE rider, meaning that you will get to pay a lot of money for the privilege of driving.
yes, and if you are put as an occasional driver on their car it's cheaper.
Yes, because you will still be behind the wheel, it doesn't matter who else is in the car.
If you are a minor, your parents hold the right to take your license away. You must abide by their rules to keep your license since driving is a privilege.
In the UK anyone with a full driving license (passed their driving test) may teach someone that has not, so long as that person has a provisional driving license. This assumes all other laws are being complied with. IE. Required insurance etc.
I believe the Parents insurance go up!
If your name is on the insurance for the car and you have a valid driver's license, technically no one can legally prohibit you from driving a vehicle, unless your parents report the car stolen or you are driving at a time that is legally restricted by the city or county (city-enforced curfews on minors).
If a child has a driver's license, the child has to be listed as a driver somewhere on an insurance policy. The child can have their own policy and then the parents rates would not go up. Usually it is less expensive for a child to be listed on a parents policy rather than getting their own policy. If the child truly is not driving a household vehicle than the only way for that child to not be rated is to turn in the driver's license. That should be fine since the child "isn't driving anyway". The child can still get a state I.D. that isn't a driver's license. If the child isn't going to drive there is no reason to list them. The previous is correct, just should have gotten an I.D. and not a drivers license. It may depend on the country or state. Where I am the insurance company would have no way of knowning if someone in you house got a drivers license without you letting them know.
yes
A minor has to be on the insurance of a person 18 years or older - which is usually their parents.
okay well not sure what will happen for sure but my gf was driving my car and it was not insured and i lost my license and restication for 3 months and had to pay a fine and so did my gf and she got points on her license the other car she rear ended didnt have any damage done to it...so therefore you will probably not get ur license for sometime and the rest would probaby depend on what kind of insurance your parents have..they may have to pay out of there pockets for the accident
You must either have a driver's license or be insured under a licensed driver's insurance. If you are a minor, your parents can add you to their car insurance.
There are many kinds of insurance. If you are asking about life insurance or health insurance, the minimum age is "at birth." If you are asking about auto insurance, the minimum age is "when they receive their driving permit." Call the insurer the day the permit is issued to have the child added to the parents' policy. I cannot speak to all insurers, but Geico (my insurer) doesn't charge premiums for kids who have driving permits, but does charge when they receive their license.
