You can't switch it out for anything else that I'm aware of, and I wouldn't suggest you try this. Too many systems are affected by the hydraulic oil.
I buy my hydraulic oil (HSMO)at http://www.motorcarsltd.com. They have the best price I have found online and they ship pretty quick. You'll find it in their online catalog under materials & supplies.
The beeping sound should stop by itself. If the beeping does not stop, then your stereo has a technical issue. Once you get your stereo fixed, it should stop beeping after a little bit.
When your LG Zenon Wireless Phone is beeping like that, it means that the phone is probably or close to dying. There is no way to fix this type of problem, except for getting a new phone. Hope this helps. -AT&T Wireless Phones
Usually it is a warning that either you have left your keys in the ignition, or you have left your headlights, interior, or parking lights on. Sometimes, though, the little switch in the ignition that senses the presence of the key, will stick. Reinserting the key and jiggling it around a bit while removing it will often fix it.
The neighbors are told abc will put them up in a hotel, otherwise, they are stuck to deal with the noise, intrusion and aggravation of these fiascos. Granted, one family wins out but, the neighbors pay a big price. Don't expect your local government or the folks from ABC to give a darn if you have pets that a hotel won't take or work from home...they don't make any particular effort to keep the noise from beeping trucks, or to stop the curious from parking any where they darned please. It was a huge hassle when that house was built in our neighborhood in Kirkland, WA.
Hello Fellow Ford Owner-- I had a similar experience yesterday (Sat 6-23-07) with my 96 Ford Windstar...where the car made a sound like some large vehicle backing up (with a loud beep, beep, beep, etc) and then just cut out...I was able to get the car jumped but then after a half mile, started beeping again, but I was able to 'flutter' the gas and get the car home (another 1/2 mile) but without any instruments working on the dash board. Today (Sunday) much to my surprise, the car started up on the 2nd crank without any jumping needed. I did notice a foul order and the coolant bottle seemed almost empty yesterday, but today it was back to its norma level? So I think the coolant may be a factor in the beeping...but I am not sure. Will call my local mechanic tomorrow to let him look it over to see what caused the problem...but for now, it is a mystery.... If anyone has had a similar expereince, please let me know. There are many reasons why the Jeep Liberty will make a strange beeping noise. It could be beeping if the turn signals have been left on or if the emergency brake isn't all the way down.
The easiest and quickest way to stop your Chevrolet Express from beeping is to disconnect the power cable from the battery. Wait one minute and replace the cable. The beeping should start again.
i would assume you need to turn your headlights off as they are the most common reason for the beeping after you turn off the car. My headlights are off and the car is still beeping
