According to many Christians why is the movie 'The Golden Compass' bad?

This movie is portrayed as wrong because it tries to portray God as an evil man who is trying to control everyone and can be defeated. The spirit of people walk beside them in the form of an animal. And many more things. If you are a christian and are planning on seeing this movie, read articles and christian reviews first to see why this movie is extremely anti-God. The director even 'watered down' the movie to make it more appealing to children but said he will completely show the author's message in the next movie. ----
Partly incorrect; they portray that the real God died or just doesn't bother with his creations anymore, and is instead ruled by an 'evil', powerful angel who calls himself God. Also, there are two angels that help the main characters that are both male and lovers; The Bible clearly states that homosexuality is wrong, and having angels, of all things, portrayed with homosexuality would go against Christian beliefs.
