NO. Fluorescent lights and LEDs are NOT the same thing, other than the fact that they both produce light.
A fluorescent light consists of a glass tube or envelope with a powder [phosphor] coating on the inside of the glass which when "excited" by electrical energy created by current running through a gas, also inside the envelope, releases some of that energy in the form of light.
An LED on the other hand is a solid state device with no tube, phosphors, or gas. It also converts electrical energy to light but by the interaction of two dissimilar electrically conductive compounds inside of a transparent or translucent plastic body.
While they don't get as hot as incandescent bulbs, LED lights still do generate a bit of heat. Proper cooling is required, usually in the form of a headsync to maintain the life of the lights.
There are a number of retailers who sell Fantasia LED fairy lights. They include Amazon, Save On Crafts, the auction website eBay, Lighting Universe and Lights For All Occasions.
LED lights would not become hot in that short of time. Over a few minutes they would begin to warm up though.
sell them nicely, gentle and sweet
You can install undercarriage lights to have them turn on with your dome lights on a 2005 Chevrolet Equinox by installing the LED tailgate light bar.
There are not a lot of producers left of fluorescent lights. The biggest producer of them is Philips. They are also the biggest producer of LED lights.
* Incandescent * Fluorescent * LED (light emitting diode)
LED TV's are actually LCD screens, but instead of having a fluorescent tube backlight, LED TV's use LED lights as their backlight.
Incandescent and halogen light bulbs use more energy than compact fluorescent lights and LED lights. Fluorescent lamps with magnetic ballasts use more energy than fluorescent lamps with electronic ballasts.
debatable with LED's coming into there own never mind halogens.
There's not much of a difference, the quality really depends on the brand. The biggest difference between LED and LCD is that LCD has fluorescent lamps in it and LED has LED lights in the back of the screen.
LED lights use substantially less electricity than most other kinds of lighting -- even less than compact fluorescent bulbs.
Incandescent lights are expensive to run (they give off a lot of heat was well as light), incandescent lights are much more efficient. However modern LED light bulbs are better (more efficient) than both incandescent and fluorescent lights so in the future you will see a change to the use of these.
LED lighting is slowly filling the Home Lighting and Business Lighting market place with such innovative products as LED T5 and LED T8 Tubes, Flexible LED Lighting, and LED Down Lighting. The list is long and this is good, at least in my opinion. So you could find everything from above in this website. Take care.
Basically ,LED stands for Light Emitting Diode and LCD stands for Liquid Crystal Display. LCD TV use fluorescent lights while LED TV use those light emitting diodes. The fluorescent lights in an LCD TV are always behind the screen. On an LED TV, the light emitting diodes can be placed either behind the screen or around its edges. In my opinion, LED TV is more efficient than LCD TV
Metal halide, incandescent, fluorescent and LED are just some of the lights used to provide a light spectrum similar to that of the sun. This will aid in the growth of the plants.
LED instant, Filiment ithin a few cycles, the Fluorescent needs a starter to fire first
