Just about any bird is edible...I'm told that some larger birds, particularly sea birds have an awful, fishy flavor, especially pelicans, but any other type of bird is perfectly good if baked or fried. It is a good idea to soak the cleaned carcass overnight in salted water.
It does not matter what the color of the bird is, it matters entirely on the species of bird, like some birds like owls are mostly pure predator's, but like ducks are pure herbivore's, and some crows for example are omnivores, but not because they are black.
no
If your talking about vultures it is because they are meat eating birds and they are circling to signal the others that there is meat there or they could be already vultures at the dead animal they found so there waiting for the others to have there fill and fly away so they can land and eat too.
