In many countries this is prohibited though the rule is not universal.
Students
I guess you must be, since I am in 7th grade in a MA middle school, and they let us have snack. However, we don't get a real "break", but just eat in class anytime between nine and ten. So we can take out food and eat in second and the beginning of third period. It really depends on your teacher. I've had teachers who allowed snacks and drinks as long as it wasn't disruptive, teachers who just allowed water, teachers who didn't allow anything, and teachers who gave us 5 minutes in the middle of class for a break (during a 90 minute class). There is no real "law" that i know of that prohibits teachers from giving a break to students (But that doesn't mean you're allowed to take your own break).
yes it should
Food Fight - 2003 Chicago Teachers vs Students was released on: USA: 10 July 2003
Students and teachers both engage in the process of learning, but their roles and responsibilities differ. Students are typically seeking knowledge and guidance from teachers, who are tasked with imparting knowledge and facilitating learning. Teachers are expected to have expertise in a particular subject area, while students are in the process of acquiring that expertise. Both students and teachers must be motivated, disciplined, and open to new ideas in order to be successful in the learning process.
In the USA, teachers are allowed to physically hit students in 21 states.
No definitely not. I came from an era where teacher could cane students over the hands. I coped it several times myself. and at no time did I feel the punishment justified the crime. Allowing frustrated teachers to vent their anger on children with acts of violence is just plain wrong. It is wrong in the same way as corporal punishment would be for adults. I am not particularly against a parent giving a small child a small slap on the back side but I think teachers hitting kids is an affront on both the teachers and the child's human rights and dignity. If we are not allowed to hit prisoners in prison we should treat our children with the same consideration.teachers shouldn't be allowed to hit students but they can they only took the cane away because they thought it was too harsh Should teachers be allowed to hit students?Of course not, nor are they allowed to hit students. They are however, allowed to 'correct' students. That is, if a student requires physical guidance to keep themselves or others safe, teachers are allowed to adminster physical correction, much as a parent would.
because teachers suck
maybe
no
No, teachers are not allowed to swear at students. It is important for educators to maintain a respectful and professional demeanor in all interactions with students. Swearing can create a negative and inappropriate learning environment.
The teachers can be trusted.
Corporal punishment was used as a disciplinary method is most schools for many years. It has largely been made illegal in most western countries today.
im a teacher and i do it all the time just to scare the students
Teachers are generally discouraged from following students on social media to maintain professional boundaries and protect student privacy.
We are not trusted, the teachers think we are facebook addicts
