If you're a Child/Teenager: Check up about the after school activities in you're school, there might Be A Drama Class or Something Similar.
If you're an Adult: You should go to the gaiety school of acting it's the best one but it's in town.
The answer is simply this- get involved in community plays or even school functioned plays if you are still in school. Or you could acting or drama class you could get discovered there you just never know
Get an acting Agent.Work on your image.Get your headshots done.Send a copy of your headshot to all of the acting/drama managements you know along with information on where to contact you etc. etc.Go to all of the auditions you get called to.Always arrive there 5 minutes early (no earlier, no later)And just wait. You'll get your big break. Basically, you'll need an Agent to do all of this. Acting Agents are very very good because they help you, and another little tip for me to give you is to go to as many (good quality) acting classes as you can. Practice makes Perfect :P Good Luck, I hope to see you on the big screen one day.xx
Hello, What you need to know is find a 'Free' agent or go online and look for free casting calls. If an agent is makng you pay its a skeem because agents arnt supposed to get payed until you do..
BernNadette Stanis is still acting. She still is looking good too!
If your school offers AP Art History then that would look great when paired with a strong AP exam score. If not, take some elective art classes along with classes that delve into the humanities. You should also consider taking art history classes at your local community college. Best of luck!
Presidio Dance Theatre Academy in San Francisco offers the best acting classes for teenagers. Shelton Studios is another good place to get acting classes.

You find a good agent and acting classes and audition. It helps if you can sing or dance.
For profession acting classes, I'd research because there's no point in suggesting a good acting class that's on the other side of the country. You need one near you, and an acting studio is good if your acting class tutor tells you it's good.
If your naturally a good actress/actor, then no. But if you want to be a Great actress/actor, it is best to take acting classes! So what are you waiting for? If you want to be an Actress/actor than GO GO GO!!
If you are wanting to work in broadcasting some good classes would be speaking classes, journalism classes, writing classes and some acting would help as well.
Often times you can find information on acting/drama classes through your local Performing Arts Center. You can also check out community theaters. This will be a good place to start.
Acting classes are a good idea if you are willing to stretch your talent. The instructor will teach you stage presence and how to use your voice. There are different scenerios that you would most likely act out with others.
You can find acting classes mostly anywhere. Im sure Louisiana has many different companies and schools. Without knowing your location it's not possible to give a precise answer. However you can take drama at many high schools. If you want to go to a college that has acting classes you should choose one with a liberal arts curriculum and then make sure they have a good drama department.
Yes - she's a wonderful teacher, and it's well worth it to take her class.
