Yes. One of the main entrances is under Union Station. I worked there quite a long time ago as a police officer and there are many underground oddities. One, there is an underground storage area built big enough to house tanks being shipped via railway cars during the first two world wars. (There has been only two World Wars.) Not far from there is the entrance to an underground steam tunnel network. These tunnels run from Union Station to the Crown Plaza hotel and further beyond. At one time they connected to many other downtown sites and went on for miles. During the visit of the President back in the mid 90's we had to go down and search every inch of these tunnels and they were then bricked up. I'm sure it wouldn't take much to open them up. The Union Station entrance is near what we called the "back dock" which is the loading docks at the South Street side of Union Station. The entrances are always locked. Of course, this was over 10 years ago and things may have changed since. Happy Hunting! Hello. Good work Dmac61!
Yes, there are a lot of underground tunnels in Victoria. You don't want to go down there. Yes you do. They're dark and creepy, and they go on forever, turning corners and ducking under streets, and the openings are right under your nose. People have been occupying them for decades.
