How would you explain father in The Boy in the Striped pajamas?

OK Father is a very strict German commander. Like when the fuher (in the book 'the fury') comes to their house in Berlin, Bruno and his sister have to behave when the fuher arrives and then go to bed straight after. Bruno is oblivious to what his father is doing in the book. He defends father when Shmuel talks about how he hates all soldiers. Bruno finds out what his father is doing in the end of the book when they all are herded into the black room. But Father loved Bruno because in the very end you learn about when Father totally changes after Bruno's death and learns what happened to Bruno when he sees Bruno's clothes sitting in that place near the fence.

Is Bruno's father a good father in the boy in the striped pajamas?

The relationship between Bruno and his father is like every other relationship between father and sons, they just don't interact much. This is because Bruno's dad is always busy working for the Fuhrer. Their relationship isn't bad or anything, they just don't talk much.

What is Bruno's relationship like with his mother in the boy in the striped pajamas?

Bruno has a better relationship with his mother then his father, Bruno is clearly fairly close as he asks most of his questions to his mother. His father is working at the camp so his mother is one only people he can talk to.

Does Father care that Bruno goes missing in the Boy in the Striped Pajmas?

This is a difficult question only Bruno's father can answer. He obviously doesn't care about OTHER people's children, and in the end, has a somewhat blank emotion. And, he gets a tutor who brainwashes Gretel. Not to mention, even lies about burning the Jews.

What is the fatherland in The Boy in the Striped Pajamas?

The tutor meant Germany. Bruno thought he meant father land, as in his father's land (like property).
