I believe Tsugumi Ohba is the director in the picture (see link below) on the right.
It was originally a manga written by Tsugumi Ohba and drawn by Takeshi Obata.
It is possible that Tsugumi Ohba is the author's real name and in fact, it is only fan speculation that suggests otherwise. As far as Shueisha will tell us, Tsugumi Ohba's first serialized manga was Death Note and we have no reason other than the suspicious skill with which Ohba writes his/her stories to think otherwise.
at first it was a really complicated math problem for Light but then Tsugumi Ohba just came up with random numbers ^^
Tsugumi Ohba may infact is a female, well I'm not a hundred percent sure because her real identity it's hidden. Base what I've read from all her work, 60% female 40% male. This is what my point of view: -Her logo represent women, but yes not 100% sure she's a woman just bcoz her logo is shown as a women. -Well this is just a pen name but infact it might be her real name. Since her Nick name is 'Tsugumi' Tsugumi mostly is a girl name. -Women intend to be able to write & think more complicated stuff then men I think(Well there's also guys who are capable writing complicated stuff too but I think mostly women). Since women capable of doing much stuff (well not all mostly). I mean example, a mother who could cook, do phone calling and taking of children at the same time. (something like that, and her stories rather as complicated as that) -I read 'death note 13 how to read' and I saw the page about Misa Amane Love. There's lots of things that about Misa and mostly girl stuff .. like 'Girl usually think love very important' or something that about girl stuff that not all men know about it. And also the way Raito seduce Misa is like; "usually girl like this blah blah and it makes me easier to seduce her(seducing Misa, or other girls in DN)" that what he said to Ryuk in the manga when Ryuk ask why Raito kissed Misa. So I bet this artist know rlly sharp about women. -Based on what I saw in Bakuman, I saw lots of girls in Bakuman. And what I like about those girl in Bakuman, their clothes rather 'stylish'(Since I'm a girl as well, I like the clothes design of the girls in Bakuman to tell the truth C:.) but I find it rather attractive. It's like she knows a lot what girl's clothes ideal.. -a lot of female or female mangaka able to know how most men way of thinking that's why I think it's not impossible for ohba to create a lot of shonen character. Let see, like Strawberry 100% and Anedoki, they're specialize in 'shonen harem manga'. And I would never guess when I just knew b4 that the creator of those 2 manga are a female. Who ever thought female could understand male's taste so much -and last thing, I saw how Misa Amane's personality, Yuriko Aoiki's personality, Azuki Miho's personality, Aiko Iwase and last most special one, Miyoshi Kaya's personality. She explain the detail how girls thought a lot about guys and how girl act(Like it's so real). And it's normal for girls to know other girls personality than men is. That's why Most Shojo manga (like 90%) is a girl. and girls also capable to create shonen manga (such as Anedoki, Ichigo Hyapatsu, Tsubasa Reservoir, Arata Kangatari) she seems experience how girl's in reality react. so my doubt is a girl.
No One Knows the white beast did ithink Even though Obata and Ohba didn't want to kill L because he was their favorite character, I believe they killed him so the story would be better and less predictable.

Yes he does. But actually, his name is spelled Ohba Tsugumi.

If you mean that it is Trade Marked, then yes. In other words, you can't publish something related to Death Note unless it is decided that you can by the creator, Tsugumi Ohba.
Death Note was written in 2003-2006 by Ohba Tsugumi and Asami Yuuko.
not sure what you mean by santan, but death note was written by Tsugumi Ohba, an Takeshi Obata
Well I know the story's by tsugumi ohba art by Takeshi obata
No , thirteen , according to Tsugumi Ohba , completes the Death Note story arc . (There will probably be more.) ~ see link .

The Death Note anime is based on a manga series of the same name, drawn by Obata Takeshi and written by Ohba Tsugumi. The anime series was produced by Studio Madhouse, directed by Araki Tetsurou, and written by Inoue Toshiki.
It is likely a mistake or confusion. The author of Death Note is Tsugumi Ohba, a pen name for the writer of the series, while Takeshi Obata is the illustrator. Asami Yuuko does not appear to be associated with Death Note in any official capacity.
Created by Tsugumi ohba and Takeshi Obata, Touta Matsuda is the youngest person on the task force during the kira case. Although he is clueless at times,he can be a very smart person.
