No matter what part of the country you are in DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CHILD IN A HOT CAR. Way too many children have died because of this. How old is the child? Do they know what to do if a stranger approches them? Do you have air conditioning? I have a remote starter on my vehicle and when in use the vehicle's engine runs, the air conditioner runs, and I can roll up the windows and lock the door with out worry that my child will accidently knock it into drive because you have to hold the brake to change from park to reverse or drive AND if you push the brake with the remote starter activated the vehicle shuts off. Then I can take the keys with me and unlock the door when I come back out. Please note that this only happens on rare occasions and only when I run into the gas station.. DO NOT SHOP WHILE YOUR CHILDREN ARE IN THE CAR! I never leave my kids (7 and 9) in a hot car so don't worry about that. I was referring to just the type of situation you mentioned. My kids know what to do if a stranger approaches the van and I take the keys with me so we don't have any worry about the van running away without me. I totally agree not to do a regular shopping trip with the kids in the car, I was thinking more like a gallon of milk, loaf of bread and a dozen eggs at the convenience store which will take 3 times as long if I take the kids with me.
fall asleep sob pass gas smoke talk leave
idk im sorry i had a odd day my cearl had milk in it and my car had gas in it and my keychain has keys on it and and and
just for safety & precautions issue.
sure, good luck paying for stuff.. like food, cloths, gas, healthcare... life.
It's not illegal for a person to remain in a car when gas is being pumped. It's not recommended that you leave the pump, and it's not recommended that anyone get in and out of the car while the gas is pumping. It's possible that in some locations those might be illegal for reasons of public safety.
If its just the smell from the vapors then you should be able to roll down the widows and leave them open for a while and the smell will go away. If you actually spilled gas in the car then you need to clean it with a deep cleaner of some sort once its cleaned then leave the windows open for a little bit and it should be gone.
Don't leave your car on OR wear a mask.
The cooling system is probably getting old ... but to leave a car idling for 15 min is not a good practice for the car or for your gas milage.
It continues to burn gas. I imagine if you added gas slow enough it would just never fill up.
I guess you turn on you car, leave it in neutral, and push on the gas pedal repeatedly.
problem with timing belt 0r car is overheating check thermostat....bad gas /water in gas
yes its a law
That happened to me I lit a match, chucked it in and hoped for the best.... :D(ended up calling fire brigade)B. The gas smell will eventually leave the inside of the car if you leave the windows down. I've added a related link to a webpage with a lot of recipes that will help you get rid of the gas smell and make the inside of your car smell better.
Carburator problems -- dirty gas -- water in gas
of course it is. it needs gas to move, to start, and to run
It can be related to gas and electrical power.
