Actually Sasuke wins according to episodes 134-135, when naruto falls unconscios first, indicating Sasuke has won. This is, of course, in Part 1, but in Shippuden, Sasuke will still probably win. The Chidori 1,000 Birds is abit stronger than Rasengan, since Rasengan requires a shadow clone or doppelgangger to fuse it. Considering the fact that Chidori knocks the opponet unconscious while Rasengan can be easily blocked, Chidori would win. It is also an advantage, but he puts it to good use. Naruto has the Kyuubi, an advantage. He can call upon it for more chackra, so it doesn't matter to him the extra chakra needed for Rasengan. I'd say, base on a head on attack, their equal in power, but strategically, rasengan wins. Rasengan is equal to chidori, because rasengan is only shape manipulation and chidori is both nature and shape manipulation. But, because rasengan's shape manupulation is at such a high level, it seems to equal off with chidori. In the matter of a rasenshuriken, which is a shape and nature manipulation at such a high level, that it's in a different league than chidori. Lighning is inferior to wind. however, the rasenshuriken is at a disadvantage against fire jutsu because wind makes fire stronger. So naruto and sasuke are equally powerful unless one learns a new jutsu. but sasuke has two chakra properties (fire and lightning) and naruto only has one (wind) but naruto can learn 1000 times faster (shadow clones (Naruto vol. 36)) than sasuke when sasuke relies on drugs (courtesy of kabuto). But, remember to take in matter of Sasuke's sharingan (mangekyou sharingan too). Naruto is physically stronger now, because of his Sage Mode, but Sasuke still has his sharingan, and there are still many things to learn about the power of the sharingan like how there is the level of an "ultimate sharingan". Sasuke may soon come into possession of this power (Uchiha Madara posesses this too), because he may already obtained Itachi's eyes. But the one thing sasuke has that naruto doesn't is an attitude. also the rasengan was developed by the fourth hokage and the chidori was developed by kakashi rasengan wins anyday. Sasuke level two sure beat Kyubi Naruto. Kakashi said that the Rasengan Naruto have is better than Sasuke's Chidori. But when Kyubi Naruto vs Sasuke level two, the Chidori is also level 2. And then when Rasengan vs Chidori, the Chidori wins. 4 tails naruto would win by a long shot, as the chakra from the nine tails would heal naruto. Plus in one of the episodes 4 tails naruto produces a blast from his mouth that is powerfull enough to wipe out half a forest. Also orichimaru couldn't even hurt 4 tails naruto and only escaped because yamato supressed naruto's chakra. Not even orichimaru's snake blade wasn't even able to pierce 4 tail naruto's chakra coat!

Naruto and Jiraya can perform the rasengan until they use up all their chakra, and the chidori can only be used a few times depending on your strength and mastery of the Technique. Sasuke and Kakashi can use it 2-3 times a day.

Well I have never played or if it is a movie seen it but i am pretty sure naruto can only use rasengan and different types of it the only people I've seen use chidori is Sasuke and Kakashi.
