I'm 14, a friend was going to take me out, but a problem appeared, my mum, older sister, and dad were at work so I was on my own, she was going to leave her kids with me, but then she thought I had to be 16 to look after her kids on my own. Does the law say I can look after children at 14, please no "I Think....." statements, if you 100% know and even know a website that has this matter on it, please let me Know as I want to know if I can look after these two little friends of mine.
13+ to babysit in md 12 in most other states but you can be home alone for brief periods of time between 8 and 12, if the child left at home is under 8 you need a 13+ year old to be present. hope it helped :)
The minimum age a child can babysit in Rhode Island is twelve years of age. It is recommended that for very young children, an older teen babysitter is best.
That is very underweight, take the child to the doctor to see if the child has an illness. A very tiny, scrawny 10 year old would be about 70 pounds.
No she is not old enough to do so.
The age at which a child can babysit or stay home alone varies by state and country, often ranging from 10 to 14 years old. Many places recommend that children under 12 should not be left alone for extended periods. It's important for parents to assess their child's maturity, responsibility, and ability to handle emergencies before making a decision. Always check local laws and guidelines for specific age recommendations.
It is really up to the parents, but the legal age is 13 to babysit in England. They need to be responsible and trustworthy. You cannot babysit someone elses child at the age of 10. I am 13 (14 in a few weeks) and I babysit for people that I know. Not sure about the USA. Hope this helps!
from 10 up
depends on how old the sister is, but 10 should do fine.
No. A ten year old is not yet mature enough to accept sole responsibility for a child and does not yet have the capacity to understand the consequences of his/her actions.Unless they have good parents that taught them well and are extremely responsible (which is very rare).
10 or 11, if has a babysitting course and CPR training.
yes
I think a ten year old can babysit as many children they can depending on their responsibility and how many kids they can handle.

Yes but you need to know if you can handle it.
You should be about 13 - 14 years old.
I don't think so.
Most Recent Answer:Yes, a 15 year old is able to babysit a child. There are typically no age requirements in order to babysit a child except in a few cases like Maryland, USA where you must be 13. As long as you are able to be mature and show it then it isn't a problem.Answer Two:Under the age of 18, to my knowledge, you are by law not allowed to be unsupervised period... so by law no. However alot of young teenagers are mature and responsible enough to babysit..
