no specific age, but if your planning on leaving your child in a car, your an awful parent
It mostly depends on where you live, and how old the child is, because some places do not allow children at home under a certain age by themselves. However, in my personal opinion, children under 13 should not be left alone so a parent can go to the store while the child is sleeping.No.
I think it sould be mostly up to the parent but it should be when the child is mature enough to handle themselves and emergency situations. They should not be left home alone for too long the first time and go over the emergency procedures with your child. You may gradually increase the time alone if it is okay with the child. DO NOT LEAVE THE CHILD ALONE IF THEY DONT WANT TO BE LEFT HOME ALONE!!!!!
From my understanding, a parent can leave their child or children home alone at any age, as long as they think they are mature enough to handle it. Basically, there is not a law in Ohio about leaving a child alone. However, in the instance that something was to happen while the child or children were alone, then something would be done legally.
I do not think that is something that is regulated by the laws. A good parent would be sure that a child was responsible enough to do that. IT is left to the parent's judgement but if it were me, I wouldn't allow any child under 15 to stay home alone and that would be ONLY in a time of actual need.

There are no legal laws about the age a child may be left alone but a child who is left alone too young could leave the parent liable for negligence or child abuse. A general rule of thumb would be if the child can cook for him/herself or call emergency services.

yup that can happen by time travle. if the female was left alone with her own grandchild & never was pregnant with her child & the futune child become a parent & sent their child in the past before the parent mother was pregnant & the parent give their child to their mother before she become pregnant with them & than the parent mother never become pregnant with them & she was left alone with her non-exist child their child witch it is her grandchild & she become a grandmother with out giving birth to her child that did't exist at that time before she did't get pregnant & die never give birth to non-exist child who the grandchild parent never exist in time & it was just grandchild & the grandmother.

No that is called child neglect. Thew child could get into anything while unsupervised.
13 is the legal age for a child to be left alone in the US
We continue to receive information through our senses while we are sleeping. A young child can easily sense a door opening and closing, footsteps and voices while sleeping. So it would not require any psychic abilities for a sleeping child to sense that the parent has left the house.

The child can get lost or hurt.
There is no age limit on the benefit of being alone if wanted, at least for a short period. The same goes for infants and toddlers. A wise parent will ensure that their child is safe if left alone. The child is either fast asleep, or is up to no-good!
