If the TV does not have a HDMI plug it is still possible to connect with a plug that has RCA or S-video plugs on one side and HDMI on the other. Sony has an Official Component AV cable and a Component AV cable and USB Cable Pack. Target.com has them for $30 and $20 through the link with Sony PSN.
