You can't get a Groudon in Pokemon Sapphire, only Kyogre. You can trade your Groudon from your Emerald, and that is the only way, unless a cheating device is used.

to get groudon you must have only 3 bages go back to pallet town andand talk to the guy next door not true To get groudon in in fire red, there are two ways, both involving trading. Method one: Items required: GBA link cable, a Ruby, Fire Red and Groudon in Ruby (obviously!!) After getting the ruby and sapphire gem in Fire Red(That's a long story. See somewhere else.) Celio (friend of bill) will establish trading with hoenn region. You have to trade a Groudon from Ruby to Fire Red. Now I guess that you will agree with me that there is no use for Groudon after the game is over (Other than pokedex). So that leaves me with method two. Method two: Items required: GBA link cable, a Ruby, 2 Fire Reds and Groudon in Ruby(obviously!!) Now the trick is one game should be complete.(ruby, sapphire, league finished,etc.) From Ruby, trade the Groudon to the finished game. From there, trade it to the game in which you need it and voila! You have it. And here, it is way more useful.
