yes, now it is possible to connect USB pen drive to your reliance big tv set top box and play movies, mp3 etc. following process are required:
connect ur pen drive in the slot,
go to settings,
click on parental control,
enter the password,
thereafter switch off the stb.
now press red button for a long time
there will be a factory reset process, initiate that
then ur pen drive is showing there an the list of movies and mp3 will appear
play and enjoy
