(Which is active from the start of the game; you don't have to unlock it.) It's only NATURAL it would be purely Japanese... THAT'S WHERE POKEMON COMES FROM: JAPAN. Besides, if you want it in English... THEN BUY IT IN ENGLISH! It WILL be imported. So why buy a Japanese one and expect it to be in English? They've never done it before. If anything, the English imports should have an option to change it BACK to Japanese.

SorryGenerally, you can't change language options in games, especially games that are very text-centric. Games are almost universally made to be released in only one region, and as such tend to only contain the translation for that region. Some games with minimal amounts of text don't follow this trend, but they are the exception rather than the rule.
