The parts that are needed should be listed in the users manual. You can find them through an office store or online.
Apparently not!! The company offers NO support, and basically says buy a new unit! However what use is a simply manufactured shredder that keeps stripping drive wheels (both plastic and metal) all over the world that no replacement parts are available. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER AURORA PRODUCT!!
I can definitely save some time by telling you Fellowes is no help. I've already called and they said I needed to recycle it. In other words, it's a throwaway model as far as they're concerned. "No parts Available."

The best paper baseball: Take two sheets of notebook paper and wad them up as tightly as possible (literally so make it compact and solid). Then take masking tape (preferably. If not, duct tape works too) and wrap the ball up to where no paper is showing, then smooth out the rough parts of tape to make the ball as round as possible. These can make for nasty curveballs and knuckleballs. Now you have a paper baseball that can be played inside, where the bases are pillows or articles of clothing (or, if you do what I did, play in school lobby and bases are textbooks). Bats are bare hands, rulers, or broom sticks.
2 parts nitrogen, 3 parts phosphate, 2 parts potash.
The Staples model SPL-826X paper shredder replacement parts are available through the manufacturer of the shredder. Depending on what needs to be replaced, Staples will replace the shredder if it is still under warranty and if it is a mechanical issue.

There is a thermal cut-off that keeps your shredder from getting too hot and melting the mechanical parts. Let the unit sit for three to four minutes before trying to shred paper.

The power cord has no continuity in the "N" wire. I checked all three with an ohm meter and the "N" wire had no continuity. An "open" of some kind. I am now looking for a replacement power cord to avoid taking it apart and "hard wiring" a cord in. Office Depot claims not to have parts for these shredders, i.e., replacement power cords. A Dell computer power cord will not work. (At least mine didn't).
According to the manufacturer the dahle shredder is easy to use and unjam when blocked. It can be necessary to use WD40 to keep the parts lubricated. You can purchase a shredder performance kit to help you keep the mechanism working properly.
China, took ours apart and found the chinese manufacturers name on the motor.
