Some have A/V inputs and so you can on those
I plugged the HDMI cable into the HDTV and into the PS3. Then I went to the settings for both the HDTV and the PS3 slim and set them for HDMI and sync. When it works right putting a disc into the PS3 will turn on the HDTV and also switch the HDTV over to that HDMI input rather than a cable box or similar item even if it was on the cable box when you last used the HDTV.
It is your TV that is saying no signal and not the PS3. When it happens to me it is when the TV is not switched to the correct source. For me this is when the HDTV is still at the PS3 source of HDMI or HDMI-3 plug and not the cable HDMI plug or HDMI-1. It can also happen when you purchase a cheap HDMI cable that stops working or when something is just disconnected from either end of the PS3 A/V or HDMI cable

I don't think you want to hear the sound from your TV, but you want to hear the sounds that your PlayStation is making and sending to your TV. Your first choice should be from Sony PlayStation 3 accessories and the headset and mike that they make connects to the PS3 with Bluetooth and the retail USA price is $49.99. It is called PS3 Bluetooth Headset and a link to the PlayStation network accessories has been placed under the related links

you put it into the TV so that they are connected
Plug the cords in to the A/V spots, then plug the other end of the cord into the corresponding spot on the PS3.
Plug in the PS3 to a TV. And plug the power cable into an outlet. You turn on the PS3, open the game slot, put the game in, and close it. Then you use the controller that came with the PS3 to play games...

If it has a RCA A/V input the PS3 can be connected to a Sanyo TV
No it does not have to be a special TV or a HDTV to connect and play the PS3. You do need a TV that has A/V input capability. That means 2 Audio RCA type Plug inputs and one Video RCA Type plug input are needed to connect the PS3 to the TV with the A/V cable that comes with the PS3.
The best way to connect the PS3 to a TV is with an HDMI cable. You must have a TV with HDMI input and you must purchase the cable as it does not come with the PS3. If your TV does not have an input for an HDMI cable or you do not want to purchase the cable you can use the color coded plugs on the cable that comes with the slim PS3 game console to plug it into your TV and the HDMI plug into your PS3 console.
it should just project what the ps3 has, with normal ps3 cables, the images may not be as sharp tho! have fun w/ ur ps3
Yup, it sure can. As long that the tv has the outlit to plug it in.
