You're pokedex with then be updated to the national dex and you can start migrating at the Pal Park. If you don't have any of those game boy series, I suggest training, it does take patience, but it is worth it considering the elite four in Soul Silver and Heart Gold is the easiest elite four in all of the Pokemon games. Well, as far as levels go, it's still tough nonetheless.
