Best by, sell before , and use by dates are very conservative for sealed containers displayed on store shelves. These dates are only important for Baby Formula and refrigerated products. The federal government requires sell before dates only on baby formula and gives no guidance for best by dates for other products.

All liquid skin cleansers and conditioners (shampoo, soap, skin lotion, conditioners, and so on) are good for years as long as the container is sealed and is not exposed to high temperatures. If the the liquid has not separated (or if you can remix it by shaking the container) it is still good to use.
