No more so, or less, than any other nation
Yes, Canada is a sovereign and independent country. Though it is a part of the North American continent it is not a part of the US any more than any other country is.
It became independent independent in 1867 but the the "head of state" is still the queen of england. ================ No, Her Majesty is Queen of Canada in her own right, and not by virtue of being Queen of any other country. The Crowns are separate, and the Canadian Crown exists on its own.
I think U.S.A because, the other three are part of the U.S.A. No. Canada is a county in the continent of North America, north of the United States. The United States is also a country on the continent of North America. Mexico is a country located south of the United States, on the continent of South America. Alaska is a state of the United States, located west, north-west, of Canada. And since Alaska is the only state, the other names on the list being countries, Alaska is the answer.

Antarctica occupies the southern end of planet earth. No other continent is situated this far south.
Romania is itself a nation. It is not on or in any other nation. It is in the continent of Europe, if that is what you mean. Europe is a continent, not a nation. Romania is a member of the European Union, which is an organisations consisting of 28 or Europe's nations. It is an organisation, not a place.
America is a continent. Many of the various countries in America, other than Canada, can and do, trade with Canada
