Clarence the Cross-Eyed Lion lived at the Noah's Ark Animal Park in California and later at the Los Angeles Zoo. He gained fame in the 1960s as a star of the television series "Daktari," which showcased his unique cross-eyed appearance and adventures alongside a group of other animal characters. The show was inspired by the real-life experiences of animal doctor and conservationist Dr. Marsh Tracy.
The A-11 and A-12 were not "versions" of the SR-71. They were the last of a series of designs for a high-speed reconnaissance aircraft developed at Lockheed under the direction of Clarence "Kelly" Johnson in the late 1950s and early 1960s. The A series of designs was meant to produce an aircraft to replace the aging U-2. The A-12, last of the series, was the only one to reach the production stage. It was the precursor of the SR-71.
