No. If a nearby star were to go supernova, there would be very little we could do. Perhaps we could seek shelter in deep mine shafts, or in submerged submarines, or subway tunnels.
In the next 50-60 years, it might be possible to develop protective material light enough and cheap enough to be deployed into orbit as a sort of "cosmic parasol", but nothing like that is on the drawing board at this time.
Fortunately, there are no nearby stars that are likely candidates to become dangerous supernovas. The most likely star to go supernova that we're aware of might be Betelgeuse, the red supergiant star at the shoulder of Orion the hunter. Betelgeuse is about 800 light years away; far enough that if it were to go supernova, it would be at a safe distance, but near enough that it would put on a terrific light show.
