when the titanic hit the iceburg it dented and scratched the side of the boat and that caused the departments in the bottom of the ship start to flood in the front of the boat so it started tipping down in the water and then the whole boat is sticking up out of the water then starts to go down then all of a sudden she splits in the middle so the front half goes down about 60 to 70 MPH than the back half just bobs there in the water for about 2 minutes and then goes down about 50 to 60 MPH about 100 feet feet away form the front half of the titanic. its sad 1500 people died, 700 people lived including the lifeboat full that came back to save people from the water and only 6 people got saved from the water. :( :( :( :(
