Because she was jealous that Janine had Ryan, and she didn't. Janine tried to make Ryan see that Stacey was a bit 'crazy' and out of her mind. Stacey was basically jealous.

NAME- Peggy Mitchel MOTIVE - she hated Archie with all her hart. she was thrown out by Archie and said she would do anything for my family .Also Peggy told everyone that she would leave Easterners 6 months ago and being sent to prison would explain why. WHY NOT ?- she is seriously regretting Archie's death at the moment. why would she kill someone she is still so in love with ? NAME- jack MOTIVE- Archie has ,both physicaly and mentally, harmed Ronnie and Roxie. jack wants to get into Ronnie's good books and and they both hate Archie ,like anyone else. NAME- Bradly MOTIVE- his girlfriend is pregnant with Archie's child and that might make him a bit angry. he did punch Archie 3 times Any way. WHY NOT?- um, its Bradly! when has Bradly even ever said the words `I will kill you` .honestly he is a wimp, i bet all he wanted to do after he punched Archie was go back and apologies. Below are people who could have killed Archie:Sam: Because of the Christmas episode, it could be her, however Archie has helped Sam if you remember he sorta helped her and she seemed to think that he was nice and kind to her. Even though she was in a state and was saying that she was going to go over to him and make her Mum proud, would she really kill someone who had been kind to here?Roxy: It is unlikely to have been Roxy because she was with Amy, however it is possible that she left Amy with someone else or Amy was with her while she killed Archie. Roxy could have wanted revenge on Archie for what he's done to her family - recently and in the past. If you ask me, I would like to see Bradley kill Archie as he has been so kind and we have all waited for him to get back together with Stacey Slater and he loves her so I think he has stuck up for her.It would need to be someone who could lift the Queen Victoria statue and it would most likely be someone who is leaving because I reckon someone like Jack did it as well but Bradley might get blamed 'cause he had blood on his shirt from punching him...Sean Slater! No-one that you think it will be.It was Ben Mitchell, because it is unexpected and not obvious. And you would think it was Phil, Bradley, Ronnie, Sam, Peggy, Roxy, Jack. You don't expect Ben.
